  1. @daredevil thanks mate! Hope to see you around the stream!
  2. I would like to be added as well. I stream Sandstorm from the FA hardcore servers and some IRL content. https://twitch.tv/RealFalc0n2k
  3. $15.00 USD for VIP Silver Transaction ID ch_1EakkiJLBBjF3ip3mVW7LGtw
  4. Anyone here currently play or interested in playing Escape from Tarkov? It's been around for a few years, and I've recently gotten into it more thanks to a few Twitch streamers I watch, but I've found that the game is more fun with a full squad of players rather than running solo. Usually, I run raids with @Dycantos, and we've been looking for others in FA that might be interested in either learning the game or joining in a larger squad for maximum thrills.
  5. Update: realized I shared the album in the Imgur community and didn't mean to. The updated link is https://imgur.com/a/mcBI4ki. Since the post is past the requisite timeframe, I'm unable to edit the original URL above. Apologies.
  6. I wouldn't willingly build a new rig with a 7-year-old processor, but I will say that the performance I get out of the FX-8350 is stunning for the age. Granted I started with a FX-6100 and in lieu of basically rebuilding an entire machine by switching to Ryzen, I opted for a modest upgrade to the 8350. MUCH better performance, more cores for non-gaming related tasks, and despite it having a TDP of 125 F, the thermals are excellent (although I don't have it overclocked). The baseline 4 GHz performance is solid. If I hadn't gone with the Corsair Crystal Series 460x, I would have opted for something in Fractal Design's lineup, or even a NZXT case -- both of which offer the same stunning looks. Ultimately the price was right on the 460x at my local Micro Center, and I learned that Corsair has the same case in white, so I plan to build my next rig with inverted colors (white case with black Cable Mods) to have an inverted color scheme going on. The new rig will be for gaming only, and I'll move my current machine into production as a streaming-only box. Looks like this hobby has gone into overdrive!
  7. @Snuffs99 -- granted it's not ideal, but most of the parts were hand-me-downs from friends (like the mobo, RAM, etc). Completely understand what you mean with Ryzen and this will eventually be a streaming-only rig as I now plan on focusing on a gaming-only rig. I removed the total price that was listed since it's not accurate, and also fixed the link in the original post so it should be working now. Thanks for letting me know.
  8. Recently 'finished' my gaming/streaming rig. I say it that way because as anyone who has ever built their own PC knows, you're never really finished (haha). Anyway, without further adieu, here are some shots of my current creation complete with specs. 9. Sent you a Steam request so maybe we can pair up sometime. Do you play/have you played on ESEA?
  10. Map progression has gotten pretty "weird" since the release of free-to-play. Doesn't seem to be a way to play the legacy maps by themselves in local/bot mode. I'll need to explore this a bit more though (only fired it up once the other night).
  11. @HipKat -- Been watching a LOT of via ESL on Twitch and it makes me want to play again (hence, the motivation for this post). I used to be OK a few years ago, but was looking to see if anyone was interested in doing comp. Much more fun with folks I know and can gel with, as opposed to 4 other randos from ESEA.
  12. I noticed that the community was really hot'n'heavy with CS:GO in 2015 based on posts and comments in these boards. However, only two comments are in the main thread in the last 30 days, so I'm wondering if there's still interest in playing in coop/competitive modes. I myself used to play pretty regularly in 2016 but moved to other titles after that. Curious if there's any interest in the community for having a server or team for CS:GO.
  13. Haven't played competitive in a few years, but I'm down for getting back in the groove: https://steamcommunity.com/id/falc0n2k
  14. Most of my games are UE4 titles (Squad, INS Sandstorm, etc), but I will try these options when I get home later today. I'd definitely like to get back to streaming something other than CS:GO again. Thanks for the suggestions and I'll let you know how I make out, @Lenovo.
  15. @Lenovo What settings do you use for streaming? I've played with this so much that I'm unsure of what I should be using settings-wise. Although I have learned that the auto-configurator is complete garbage and really only works on newer machines.
