    I want to thank you all for your solutions and replies. All of your replies were helpful, so I don't know which one to choose as solution. Tried back again to disable the VPN from McAfee and started ET again, seems to be connecting to the F|A servers and I played for 15 minutes.. (need a little bit of training after a couple of years :-)) Back under the name of JaxNL. Looking forward to play with you!

    Thanks for your prompt reply RedBaird. My current username when I tried to connect on the Beginners #2 server was Pablito. This was last Saturday. I did try to reconnect when I 'disconnected' the VPN in my antivirus but the ban was still showing Up (on the F|A Servers, my favorite). I did play a couple of maps on another server (CLAN.UK | FUN!!) During that time. Any other tips you might recommend? P.s. I will be off a couple of days so excuse me in advance for a late reply.

    Hi guys, I wanted to play on the F|A server again after being offline for several years. However, it seems I got automatically banned for using a VPN. The thing is, my McAfee Virusscanner currently uses VPN automatically to secure the safety of my computer. I tried to turn it off and rejoin the F|A servers but the ban still exists until the year 2035. I did try to connect to other servers and I could play without any problem. Is it possible to get unbanned or what steps do I need to take? Thanks in advance, Kind regards.

    I tried, but I can not find the file on my /C:.. Do I have to play ET in the 2 minutes of monitoring?

    Hello @ed_, First of all thank you for taking the effort to respond. I am not the IT type, so I might have done something wrong. I started ET and played at the Beginners server. Pressend `, and typed in: /ping -t jay1.clan-fa.com >pinghc.txt Waited for 2 minutes and stopped the task: Control + C. I stopped ET and checked my C:\Users\YourName map. unfortunately, no file appeared like "pinghc.text" I am sure I am doing something wrong. Could you please clarify? Thanks!

    Hi guys, Running into some problems when playing ET. Tried all the solutions (as far as I can) from this topic: Unfortunately no solution yet. It happens every 2 minutes and takes about 5 seconds that the screen hangs. I've set maxpackets to 100 etc, as the topic above states, but none of it helps. I am running ET as an administrator and I have an Intel 2955U (1.4 GHz) Let me know if you know any solution I can try. I am NOT playing via LAN-cable, but wireless. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Of course, School has just been added but in my opinion it is a pretty boring map. Of course, GoldRush stays but it is not one of my favourites, I think because I played it too much, haha. Hydro Dam is in my opinion also boring. With the "map with a lot of gates", I mean Minas Tirith. Ann!b@l, See above my answers on DFighter. Same answer. I thought there was also a map where the bots were not moving? Perhaps DFighter knows which map it was, I will see if I can find out.

    Let me give you guys a few suggestions again: -1944 Beach -Stalingrad -Goldendunk (always fun ;-)) -BaseRace -Millenium Falcon These can go out of the rotation for me: -GoldRush (srry guys ;p) -School -HydroDam -That map with all those gates.. What are you thinking?

    Hi Guys, Suddenly this afternoon I got problems with even starting ET. I checked some forum topics over here, but since I have no idea where y'all talk about, I have to ask you guys for help. Earlier today, I played, like always on the Beginners 1 server. I wanted to play again this afternoon, and when I open ET, it keeps hanging, the screen and the sound. I run ET on Administrator. I also saw some answers: \r_primitives /r_primitives and \vid_restart /vid_restart. I've tried these and none helped. I have no idea about IT (I don't know what a cfg is :')) so I hope you can help me out here.. My PC: Windows Version: Windows 10 Home System: Processor: Intel ® Celeron ® 2955U @ 1.40Ghz RAM : 4,00 GB (3,73 un-used) System type: 64-bits x64-processor Please let me know should you need anything from me.
