Beeshbum Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Excuse the ignorance. I'm looking for a (legal) script (if there is such a thing) that will reduce recoil for ANY weapon that is used...? I mostly play on the Silent server and typically use the PSSH or whatever it is called. Can that recoil be reduced, especially when I'm being hit? Quote
Buckwild Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 That's called knockback...I don't believe there is a client cvar for that, I could be wrong. Quote
Shana Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 (edited) This might help. But please read whole topic. Read about those cvars seta cg_runpitch "0" seta cg_runroll "0" seta cg_bobup "0" seta cg_bobpitch "0" seta cg_bobroll "0" seta cg_bobyaw "0" Keep in mind that: Quote Scripts that may alter game play to give the user a distinct advantage over other players are prohibited. These scripts for example, may include anti-recoil scripts and mortar scripts. Persons using these scripts will be handled as common offenders (!warn, !kick, !ban) and not as hacking offenders (immediate permanent ban). Knockback cannot be removed in any legit way. Cumquat Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Dont worry PPSH compensates for twice as much knock back you get so you already have an advantage. If you want advice, start using one of the two smgs provided by the game and hold your mouse (your aim) steady and dont let the knock back dictate your aim. Meaning dont move your aim after you get knock back,if the opponent doesnt move dont move your aim,if he moves move your aim where you should. Quote
captnconcrete Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 (edited) are you talking about damagekick? which is when bullets hit u. if this is what u mean u cant set to 0 on any of fa servers . or the kick back of the weapon knock back ? if this is what u mean they are considered a cheat. there are ways to minimize this tho.. learn to aim correctly. and learn the logistics of the game it self.
