Weapon's limited

Good evening,

hmmmm i have a simple question. is it possible to change something in server-cfg, that when someone is using a heavy weapon he only can use this weapon for hmm 2 maps (example) i am talking about panzerfaust. its a good and effective weapon, but in the last days i saw that even the same ppl use them. ok ok, you can ask the person to change class, but mostly they wont do that. i think all players should get the chance to use some limited weapons - like the panzerfaust or the mg. its fun for all, but sometimes its just selfish and sometimes annoying to see always the same persons with them. i am not pissed, but its just unfair for me. i am using these weapons too, but i ll switch after 1 or 2 maps. everybody should get a chance to pick the weapon he wants to play with. who picks the weapon at first, can play with the weapon ... but not 10000 maps in a row. thats why i am asking, is it possible to reduce this hmm for 2 or 3 maps? the fun-part is the most important part for all players. thats why it could be sexy to change it. if its possible OFC!

I doubt it. The most anyone can do to a server's config to limit a weapon would be to disable it completely. Some mods have those minimum player weapon limits(like if theres 4 players on each team, heavyweapons will not be availible)

You can hope that they are the ones that get shuffled every 2-3 maps, switch teams, or !putteam them to spec (but you won't be a FA admin long).

 

Or you couldn't you go soldier, wait for them to die, and swap weapons. As long as you never die you should be cool.

I like this idea. It gets really annoying when they continue to use the panzer map after map.

 

And also on hardcore is it possible that if you make a certain amount of teamkills using the panzer, it shoots medpacks (like they used to have it on the house of pain server) forcing them to switch weapons. If not atleast remove them from using the panzer for the rest of the map.

I think there's a rule that u can only keep panzer (or any of those weapons) for 3 maps, but some maps in hardcore get rushed fast :/

I don't think it's possible to make such a rule.

 

I agree with Alexandra, keep it the way it is now. In my experience, panzers will always be called 'nuubs' or complainers wil say: 'pick a real weapon' , most people will then pick mp40 - thompson to (try to) kick the complainers ass !

 

I'm not saying you have to keep calling the panzer a nuub 'till you get the panzer yourself. You will get muted / kicked for sure !

 

AND people have to eat and go to toilet etc. Just wait till they exit ET and pick panzer.

Only losers with no life hog the heavy weapons for 50 maps in a row. Funny thing is most of these panzernoobs end up champnoobing themselves more than any enemy cuz they dont know how to use it.

I think the way to go is allow many panzernooobs but have a communal recharge time like with fops. i love when the 35 fops are all trying to get thier arty shot, meanwhile the guys who know where to lay the arty never get a chance. Welcome to the new generation of ET players.

After 2 maps, you need to ask that person to give up the panz and try something else. If that person won't, !put them in spec.
