Carbonautics
Hey, I just started playing insurgency for couple days now, and both ddays, my game automatically minimizes most of the time, and sometimes after it minimizes it never shows it's icon on the taskbar, what can be the reason behind this?.. 2. While playing the game, me and one more guy have a issue of black flashes sometimes, it messes all the things in the game, like if I jump in game the aim just flies towards the sky straight up, 90degrees. what can be this?. Any help is appreciated, Thanks Carbonautics

parrot
That aim thing jogged my memory. Go to the menu, and click settings->controls, and make sure "raw input" is disabled.
Carbonautics
So, no raw input, but my pc automatically minimizes insurgency, if i alt+tab, nothing happens, but when it auto minimizes, it crashes i guess

Any help is appreciated, Thanks Carbonautics I suspect it's acting weird and crashing due to a resource problem. You may need to adjust (reduce) some of your game settings - particularly your video. I've personally done this and it takes very little away from the game - I actually didn't really notice the change. This is from a post that I did a few months ago: First thing I did was to set up my autoexec.cfg by downloading this file . I then uploaded into my Insurgency folder by following this tutorial. I then used this setup. There is also a post in the Steam Community that might be useful as well. http://steamcommunity.com/app/222880/discussions/3/35220315638526188/ Let us know how it goes.

The Game crashes after the developer logo,, followed both 2[A], 2, methods, tried undoing it too, didn't help, Edited December 2, 2016 by Carbonautics

redy.
maybe it is related to overheating. do you have a PC or laptop? if you have a can of "air in the can", use it to blow the fans clean.
Carbonautics
I have a pc which is cool enough mostly below 75C(gfx card) and cpu is always below 68C, and I clean it every weekend, and I added exception to windows defender, disabled antivirus, verified integrity, restarted pc, restarted steam, no solution,
redy.
maybe there are other solutions out there. This might be shooting a canon at a bird, but have you considered to reinstall the game over steam?

Carbonautics
Ok, I guess I solved it, as Kevlar had said earlier, I had put autoexec's cfg files in cfg folder of insurgency, I had forgot about it being there, all I did was remove them from cfg folder, and voila!!!, Anyway Thanks to all the guys for trying to help me! appreciate it, Look forward to seeing you on servers, Carbonautics,
