Map: 1944_Huertgen_Final

 

This map is a total killer for jay2. I've seen it so many times that the server will be full, then this map comes on and everyone leaves.

I've asked around to see why people don't like it, main reasons are:

 

- Makes people lag a lot (I'm guessing due to the details and size of the map)

- Axis map practically

- Becomes boring after anti-tank gun is destroyed (which can be done easily, through back door)

- The bush walls and weird pushes off of roofs (Of course they're for balance so no TJing)

 

It's an ok map if you want to engineer your ass off, or if you want to be axis and just camp & kill.

I think we should listen to the people and take down map.

Allies make wj from 1st spawn to gun and trees are glitched = sometimes you hit, sometimes not.

 

I vote "down" everytime I'm allied (huhu).

I am not a big fan of that map either.

Damit I just opened a new thread on the same topic, sorry. 

Totally agreed, this map sucks and empties the server as I just encountered it again : 7 players at the previous map and they all left of went spec when this map started.

For engineers, it's a great map. For getting objectives and to have fun not a very good one.

 

If people don't like it, maybe the best is to put another map instead of this one. 

 

2tanks is another boring map and people usually leaves too. That's what I heard lately.
