Administrators daredevil Posted March 29, 2009 Administrators Posted March 29, 2009 Do you play COD 4 Modern Warfare or COD 5 World At War. Let us know which you guys play more. Quote
Administrators RainierWolfcastle Posted March 30, 2009 Administrators Posted March 30, 2009 Wouldn't Cod5 be much more gaming intensive and more fun than Cod4? Some input guys. Tell me which is cooler! Quote
Ackmey Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I play neither, and can play neither due to my computer. ET 4 life! Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted March 30, 2009 Author Administrators Posted March 30, 2009 Probably you guys need machine upgrade. Quote
Ackmey Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Mail me some money, and maybe that will happen. Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted March 30, 2009 Author Administrators Posted March 30, 2009 Mail me some money, and maybe that will happen. First let me upgrade mine lol.. Quote
thundercunt Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 My computer is not that shabby but its no quad core. If I drop my insurance on all my vehicles for one month I could buy a quad. Like I said in the other post, I think a Battlefield server would be awesome! I know a lot of people who play plus everyone can play! Even poor people like me How about another vote with Battlefield Vietnam in there. Quote
kdoto Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Well, I have been playing both cod4 and cod5, if my opinion matters, CoD4 probably would work out better. Cod5 seems way easier and less challenging then CoD4. Quote
TheDuck Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Correct me if I'm wrong...but when the dual core came out there wasn't any software that 'supported' using 2 processors. The quad core computers have the same limitations atm too right? Yea an individual can 'set' the processors up to run certain aspects of their computing experience...but the games that are out now (even cod 4/5) were being made before the quad core and its kernals were available. It should be a couple more years before we start seeing games that utilize all the components of the multiple core systems. Same goes with the 64 bit computers...atm most software is written for 32 bit and you won't see any form of 'upgrade' until new software is developed that support 64 bit. BTW I thought about getting COD 4. It should run on my computer just fine...but graphics will be scaled all the way down lol My puters specs are 512 ram, 2.6 g ONE processor a geforce 4200 graphics card . Its a 6 y/o computer. It would be cheaper to upgrade the computer than buying a newer one heh Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted April 8, 2009 Author Administrators Posted April 8, 2009 With those specs you can't play COD 4. You need to upgrade u machine. COD 4 mostly support dual or quad core. The main benefit you will see is when you are doing some work and running game you will never hit fps drop. More or less new games does support multi cores. So, if u are getting new CPU go for quad or core i7. Quote
thundercunt Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 i just got a 1.79ghz amd turion 64 with a gig of ram. and it runs the game (cod4 demo) but some levels are to laggy to play? it plays Left 4 Dead just fine though? weird... Quote
