You can always switch to the mobile version on a smartphone. Bottom left hand corner.

yea but that is on the browser

I believe IPS used to had it but they couldn't keep up. So they removed it since I don't see any point of having web app when you can do all the same from mobile browser.

For the most part you can. There are certain functions that you can't perform on the mobile version, though. And It's really slow and cumbersome to use, not very streamlined.

I use the mobile version all the time, with Safari, and it works perfectly. Smooth, fast, effective.

i tend to use the desktop version on mobile devices. mobile version used to irk me lol. never really had much of an issue tho
