Basically this is a more fun, more realistic version of CS:GO. It is extremely tactical but a ton of fun. There are no minimaps. No ammo counters. So I recommend a good headset, cranking the volume up and listening for direction of shots and footsteps.

Speaking of headset, how do you talk in game? I couldn't figure that out

It depends how you key binds are setup but I believe the default key for voice chat if "K".  You can change your key bindings in the main menu area under "settings" and then "key bindings".

Yeah I saw that, hit K but didn't seem like anyone could hear me. Must be a setting I missed

unfortunately no one uses TS i connect to it everytime i go to play anything

I would connect to TS, BUT, Insurgency does not need it.

And while playing ET now on rare occasions, i just forget..
