Corey Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. Maybe a few of you still remember me! Anyways... Going to Japan in about 2 months and I am looking for ideas/recommendations on what cities to see, must see places within the cities, and general experiences I should attempt to do on my visit. I'll be in Japan from mid-late march so I will try to see some of the cherry blossoms if they have bloomed (*crosses fingers*). I'll only be there a week and be staying a little outside Tokyo. Also, if you have any tips to make my travels easier those are also appreciated. Thanks for the recommendations! 3 Quote
BnBChumMaster Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 (edited) The time I spent in Japan was about 2 yrs worth of info. I think the best time was on Mt.Fuji looking over the Island. Tokyo is actually a big place, its basically 5 cities wrapped into one. There is allot of history there too to see. Nippon Budokan is a good start, you will get lost in the indoor and outdoor activities..Seen Deep Purple, Rainbow, AC-DC and few more bands there. Take the subway everywhere, people are very friendly, enjoy your time there. Edited January 21, 2016 by BnBChumMaster 3 Quote
Raw64life Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I just booked my trip to Japan the other day, but I've never been before and I'm not going until June. Here's some general links I found useful during my research. What to do there really just depends on what you're interested in and how long you're going for. I just decided to go on the trip about a week or 2 ago so I haven't done much research or planning yet lol. 1 Quote
