gaskarthx Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I have never really went to any music festivals, but I do want to go to some festivals! Such a shame that my friends have a different music taste than me °^°. All I have been to is the Zwarte Cross (not exactly a music festival, but a combination of music, theatre, stunts and motorcross) and it was pretty rad to see Airbourne live there. I'm pretty stocked to go to the Impericon Festival in 39 days. I have seen All Time Low twice, but that was at a concert, and not at a festival. The festivals I'd like to go to are Rock Werchter, Lowlands, Rock Am Ring, Pinkpop, Speedfest, Fortarock, etc. 2 Quote

jer3 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Tomorrowland. I'm jealous. I have only been in Summer Sound Festival and Winter Wonderland Festival, both in Helsinki, Finland. And both are electronic music festivals... I'm planning to go somewhere to Europe if there's going to be ASOT or FSOE festivals after my military service... Then my dream would come true... Quote
Sisje Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Just back from Daydream festival Been to rock herk, moulin rock festival and moodstock, these are all smaller festivals in Belgium because I'm not a huge fan of festivals that get packed like tomorrowland 1 Quote
audrey Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Ultra Music Festival-Europe, InMusic, Terraneo, Enter and some other urban festivals held in Croatia for which you wouldn't know about On UMF last year there were names like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Carl Cox, Guetta, Hardwell, Fedde le Grand.. And this year we'll have Chemical Brothers, again Buuren, Axwell, Ingrosso, Cox, Guetta, Knife Party, Garrix... And it's held in my city which is nice InMusic is held every year in capital of Croatia, Zagreb. This year is its 10th anniversary. I only went last year to see The Black Keys, MGMT, Pixies, Foals, The Frattelis, Flogging Molly... Terraneo was my favourite ever, held in Šibenik, about an hour drive for my city. 3 awesome days, and I went 3 years. As of last year, it's not held anymore idk why and I'm very sad. I've seen there Prodigy, Calexico, Wu-Tang Clan, Aloe Blacc, Thievery Corporation, The Ting Tings, The Roots, The Vaccines, The Horrors, Digitalism, The xx and many others.Enter was a thing held in my city for 2 years, doesn't exist anymore: Sander Van Doorn, Laidback Luke, Steve Angello, Alex Gaudino, Kurd Maverick, Tom Novy... was fun. Okay I spammed, and here's some pics, bit of promotion, so maybe you'll wanna go there too UMF Terraneo InMusic Enter Quote

gaskarthx Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I went to the Impericon Festival at May 3th, 2015 @ De Melkweg, Amsterdam. Song: The Ghost Inside - Avalanche. It was the first "real" festival I ever went to and I was pretty nervous to go, because it was an metalcore / hardcore / deathcore festival and I didn't really know what to expect... But anyways, I was standing at the barriers so I had a pretty nice view. c: Every city has a different line up. In Amsterdam the next 12 bands were going to play; - My Iron Lung- Adept- Carnifex - Bane- Being As An Ocean- Thy Art Is Murder- Comeback Kid- Deez Nuts- Whitechapel- Stick To Your Guns- Suicide Silence- The Ghost Inside. It was such a nice experience, the people were very kind and the bands were so good! There were lots of circle pits, mosh pits and a couple Wall of Death's and oh my goodness I am glad I am still alive. Probably because I was standing at the barricades, so I didn't end up in a mosh pit or in the middle of a Wall of Death, haha.Joel, the vocalist of Being As An Ocean, went off stage during a performance, climbed up the balcony between all the people and then - while he was still performing - he jumped off the balcony and the crowd caught him and he crowdsurfed back to the stage where he continued the song. That was sooo awesome! Later I saw Joel outside, I was standing like 2 meters away from him and he was talking to a couple dudes and he was very kind and nice to them and he seemed so interested in his fans, that was so sweet. He also gave them a hug and took a picture with them. Unfortunately I was too shy to tell him how amazing their performance was and I was afraid to ask for a picture, which I totally regret now. Besides that, it was a wonderful day! I want to go next year too! If you like bands like the ones I wrote down above, you should really go to the festival! It's worth it! c: Song: Comeback Kid - G.M. Vincent and I . 2 Quote
