I'm somewhat confused

 and due to life issues and several deaths in the family I was forced to be in-active on forum as well as on servers.

I recently returned to the FA server and was told that since i was gone over 1 year I could not put my tags on and would have to re-apply to the FA members application section.

as I have stated before there are many members with whom I play on server that see me on a daily bases and see that i keep teams even by switching teams as well as enforcing rules when needed, but they have not commented on my application since there never on the forums,  even though being active on forum is a requirement according to FA rules.

 

I also noticed that there are new members whose application has become hot topic because they are being voted on by players who know them as friends. this needs to change since its becomes unfair to those applying who are quiet on servers and do not have many friends..( not everyone likes to talk on server it don't  mean there not FA material )

 

anyway while i was browsing the forum ( im very forum active ) I noticed that some members whose Tags I will not bring out have come back from being inactive for close to or over a year and have been given there admin lvl's as well as been allowed to put there tags back on without having to re-apply for membership, 

 

for those whom don't know me I never quit FA nor did I get kicked, I was happy to comply with the requests by admins to re-apply thinking this was standard procedure.

 

 

here is a paste of the inactivity rules and nowhere dose it state a member who comes back after inactivity must re-apply to FA as i have had to due, am I missing something.

Inactivity Inactivity on Forums

If you are inactive on forums for 90 days you will be moved to inactive group after that. Once you return back after your inactive time, ask on Tracker to re-instate your levels and forum group. Once you are back post a topic inIntroduce Yourself section saying you are back and also report on tracker to get your admin level and forum group back so that you can access private section on forum.

Inactivity on Server

If you are inactive on servers for more then 90 days you might loose admin level. Please report on tracker to get your admin level back. Please don't PM any staff member. If help is required use Contact Us or forum for support.

If you were a full member you normally don't have to re-apply indeed, just report your situation on tracker to let us know.

Thank you for the quick  response, I have posted on tracker I was never given that information when i was back over a month ago I was told to re-apply and wait.

Remember that you were given level 8, "Trusted VIP", instead of level 7 "Platinum VIP".  This is not normally what happens to an applicant who is also a VIP.  

 

I suspected that you were given that boost because of your rather unique situation.

Hello everyone wants to introduce myself    most of you dont know me / some know me from the past 

nice to back on forums and ET servers lets have a good time. 

 

Hi all after a period (1year i think) without stable internet and less then 1k I am back .....  NO longer an inactive Member but need to learn Admincommands and playing and stuff like that

 

So lets  frag!!

and yet I cant get my full admin or put my tags on.

Give members time to know and take your time to know them   You have been active super long enough. We normally don't remove members if they tell us going inactive before hand. But when time duration is too long we wait and see. 

 

For now you will stay on your platinum level and then you will be moved to member's level. There would be no trial phase for you. Leaders will decide when to set to give you full membership back.

 

As Daredevil said, it was obvious to me that it's up to leader when you will be put back again. However, I didn't know that you had previous account. I thought that this one was the main account you've been using. Since you provided your previous account, I may assume it's possible to restore it. Also in that account, one may find your accepted application topic. To me, you should be set back to full membership.

Actually, "Member" doesn't refer to community member (if you thought in that way), but only to registered username, i.e. everyone who only registered on forums.

Anyway, f f you hadn't provided that account information, I still wouldn't have known about your previous account.

Hope everything will clarify soon.

Few reasons:

 

1. Everyone logged in from there old account - except you. When they forget there account we don't re instate membership because we can't verify - No if no but. We just can't. 

 

2. In your case we verified through other means but still they could be forged by impersonator. 

 

I would advice you to have same patience Rail. You had created 2-3 accounts on forums. I had merged few of them. 

 

You will start with level 8 and once we feel you are good to go by hanging out more with you, we will move you back to level 12. You have returned after 6 years. So have some patience
