Trying to figure out what that woman did to get her tire torn off, and wheel ground down in half. Running a person over certainly wouldn't do that... nor would tire spikes, bullets, etc.

I suspect that the tire was locked in place by damage to the front end, and eventually the tire wore down or was perhaps flattened by the collision, and then the wheel wore down enough to free itself.

Same here, even though I never played the game.  His image is an icon for that era of gaming!   :)
