I approve of the whiskey talk. So now we know what is not whiskey...

One of the best I drank until now is Glengoyne, 18 years old.

If something less expensive, Disaronno and Jagermeister are great. And of course beer.

Why have I never replied to this topic before? :o

My other gamename is SingleMalt!.. So i luv this topic. I have been last 5 years to international whisky festival: best scotsch I had was a 25 years springbank, octomore (max bpm), macallan 25yr, and 25year talisker. My best whisky at home is a talisker 18. Regular drinks (always present at home): glenlivit 12, cragganmore 12, caol ila 12, ardbeg 10, lagavulin 12, macallan 12yrs, higlandpark 12.

I have never tasted your glengoyne 18yrs.. Will look in to it

I once had this homemade schnapps in a restaurant called Oasis on a distant hill in Croatia, near Sibenic. It was fantastic. Pour it right in and it'll hit like a hammer, you'll feel it all the way down in your feet. And it wasn't even that strong :P

..I think.

Thanks for the many hints! Will try and taste as many as possible, preferably in 5cl bottles if they exist :D

Alien Brain, I love this shot.

...looks very sweet??! whats in??

Yes its sweet. Blue curacao, Irish cream, peach schnapps and grenadine syrup.

My body just doesn't tolerate hard drinks that much, so this was the last shot I'm stuck to.

Still experimenting, but I like it :)

If out in a bar love a long Island Ice tea or if in a beer mood Icehouse but nothing tops the shine my friend makes. It is amazing that he can turn corn into drink that will knock your ____ in the dirt or power your car
