Rem Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 So I am new to a lot of this, and I could really use some help in answering. I will come around a corner and spray a full auto RPD at a person. My screen will show multiple hits (and no jugger on the opponent) and then I end up killed by that opponent. I don't understand. Quote
Rem Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 How do I fix lag. I have done everything I can do with the console (legally without cheating) to max my FPS and my FOV. My internet connection is supposed to be fast, but iif there is lag, what can I do about it? Quote

Rem Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Thanks for that Soul! I work on three different systems, so I will try the link on all three to see what I can improve the most on. It's is either lag, or people are really superhuman fast! 1 Quote
The_Dom Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Also, RPD has a huge spray radius, i think of spray as shooting from the hip. If you are shooting that way and you are going up against a P90 or another SMG. That SMG will more than likely win. It has a much smaller hit radius than an RPD especially if they are silence and have the hip fire perk. Not all hit markers do the same damage as well. If you tag somebody in center of their chest versus their foot, of course the chest will do more damage to the enemy. So there are a lot of variables, you can get 3-4 tags, but your enemy only hits you 1-2 times and you die. Well those tags were probably in their extremities, the hand, arm, lower leg etc. While they hit you in the torso or neck area. But like others said, it could be a connection issue. I actually lean more toward weapons choice. Just something to think about. 1 Quote
Rem Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 Hey Dom, Is that spray radius true when you are aiming down the sights with a red dot? I'm getting hit after hit with it, and Deep Impact is attached. I would think the bullets would go right through a person. Rem Quote
EmtHipple Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) here this should help put in perspective for you click to view Could help myself, But seriously it does sound like lag is the culprit in your gaming problem, what kind of connect do you have? and have you adjusted you packet flow rates? Rem As I said, my assumption was just shooting from the hip not ADS (aim down sites). So that doesn't really apply. But the hit marker info does and play style still does. If you are stationary position, and somebody is moving at you. The hits are probably going to be peripheral. If you are experiencing lag, it can worsen the condition. There are a lot of variables in a internet connected multiplayer game. And COD4, although awesome, is an old game on a very old engine, some physics just don't make sense. here this should help put in perspective for you shooting.gif 4a1.gif click to view Could help myself, But seriously it does sound like lag is the culprit in your gaming problem, what kind of connect do you have? and have you adjusted you packet flow rates? LOL, I was thinking of that while I was typing. 1 Quote
mR.d0t Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Rem, aim for the head, and there shall be no more super humans... Quote
Heretic121 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Could be the "god-mode" glitch? Unless it happens to everyone you're firing at, then it's probably lag lol Quote
