CSGO Competitive Matchmaking

I've been playing it a lot the past few days.

I played CS 1.2-1.6 religiously for about 3 years, then moved on to Source for another 4 years before finally getting into COD4. It's difficult readapting to the CS style of FPS, but I'm getting there. It's definitely a breath of fresh air.

Add me on Steam (Mookiekonster@wmconnect.com) and I'll invite you into a match sometime

Honestly, if I tried to play competitive, I would cause losses for so many teams. I play casual, and am almost always the worst player on the team, never getting more than 1 or 2 kills per game. Not round, per MAP.

Here's a screenshot from a public competitive round I did last night (all of my friends were in bed already). It's a bit misleading because prior to this round, and I'm still not sure what clicked, I struggled to break even. After this match, they pretty much all went like this.

Go ahead and play MM, especially if you can get together with some friends/higher ranks. Only way to get better. Also, casual is terrible for gauging how well you do in competitive since there's way more people per team, no need to use your brain/game sense, etc.
