nrgy Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 North Pole replaced with 110 Factory v1.7.0. I am not sure why a shitty map (North Pole) would be replaced with another shit map? Shouldn't a poor or disliked map by many players be replaced with a map that most enjoy playing while on the servers to help keep players connected without leaving to go to another server? Once that map comes up many leave (saw full server go to almost empty at busy time a few days ago). Same as other poor maps when it starts you hear a lot of complaints. If there is a topic where that map was voted or others expressed liking that map - I would like to see that topic. What happened to having maps voted in or having a majority rules type thing? During the past 12 months has a single map been placed on FA 1 using this preferred method? Quote

I also agree that we should be able to call votes for maps with majority rules. I'm not saying F|A is doing anything bad but its that certain map that the pubbers hate the most. The first day it was ok, second day got worse, then the third day everyone started complaining and they start to leave Quote

Saw alot of Radar/Railgun on forums with positive feedback and they are part of "Classic 6" which are enjoyed by most. No question they are MUCH better than 110 factory and server will not clear out or get complaints in main chat.. Quote

If you want to suggest/feedback 5 maps make new topic for each map. Don't put all in one topic. 2] Specify for which server you want that map. 3] Do not make multiple threads on the same map, if one is already made, just post your comments in that thread. 4] Post links or additional information about the map, just the name alone doesnt tell us much about it, so dont expect us to research the map you want. Even if it's stock map not much server uses it. It's because both maps are bottle neck at spawn. Railgun will never make it in rotation and Radar summer has few issue and hence I didn't added it. The only problem in 110 factory is spawn under submarine. We are soon changing spawn of it. If I am correct Nico was working on it. If spawns are not changed 110 will be removed. But I do assure you Railgun and Radar will never make in rotation. Radar was added in past and people bitched it out totally. Quote

Maybe it's been too long though.. if you would like I can explore some other maps that may be a nice replacement for 100 Factory map since that def should go promptly... Quote

And with spawning in the sub, if you have a half decent Axis team the Allies would get SK to pieces, by mortar + flame. I think it has been replaced with Caen2 now? caen is fun , jut got to see how it works on a full server, will be chaos, but chaos is fun. Quote
