*Kiba* Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 ok first off i don't really understand why you want to bind pm to a key i mean all it takes is for you to open console and type /m name of who your going to pm it that easy Quote
Danny Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 ok first off i don't really understand why you want to bind pm to a key i mean all it takes is for you to open console and type /m name of who your going to pm it that easy Its not in the binder, its possible from server side. When I open the console, i must type a empty message ... than at the chat will send "^" And then i can type the message It would be much more faster, if I could press p, type the name and the message... S3ti Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 FYI: I play on Beginnrs #2, there is JayMod. Beginners#2 is Silent Mod. It's: bind p "privatemessage" In your bindlist it says: bind p "messagemode4" 2 Quote
Danny Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 I had changed this... now: When I press p, it dont shows the mouse button, now happens nothing Quote
S3ti Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I had changed this... now: When I press p, it dont shows the mouse button, now happens nothing Ok, in the bindlist you pasted you joined F|A BEGINNERS XPS, that is Jaymod. F|A BEGINNERS #2 XPS is Silent Mod. For Jaymod your /bind p "messagemode4" is right. For Silent Mod it's /bind p "privatemessage" Did you try to bind a different key...or to bind any other function to P? 1 Quote

S3ti Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Does P work at all if you bind anything to it? Try /bind P "+forward" or something... Quote
Danny Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 Does P work at all if you bind anything to it? Try /bind P "+forward" or something... It runs. Before I startet to bind p for pm, i binded p for playdead without any trouble Quote
S3ti Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Strange...well, if nothing helps just bind pm to any other f***ing key 1 Quote
Danny Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 So, i test something... but nothing happens... messagemode4 didn´t runs at me -.- But I have a second problem :Whatever I wan´t to type at the console, I must send a empty message. Than on chat comes ^ and after this I can write the command/private message, whatever. If I let open the console, I can write without problems, but when I close them, i must send again a empty message. If I do it not, the normal message will not send, and I must type the message again. When I want to use arrow up, the command will not be set, just the ^ at chat repeated... Where is the ...... problem with my ET? I have no more ideas -.- Quote
