Well i have a laptop and a desktop and i switch my mouse between them because i need my mouse for photoshop on my laptop.

However today it decided to stop working.. The weird thing is that the lazer is still working yet it doesnt move on my screen.. Ive moved it between ports and all of a sudden it worked and then it quit again after making that usb device detected sound for a few times..

My mouse is a trust maxtrack bluespot mouse and it doesnt need a driver to run so i cant download a driver to fix things..

does anyone have a clue?

ps. Dont tell me its a shit mouse buy a razr because i still own u with this mouse and u know it, well not now ofc coz it dont work.

It's probably died, happened with a few of my mice, the cable kinda wore and it would connect and disconnect all the time.

Your mouse keeps connecting/disconnecting with the matching sound? If it's the case it was common bug on win7, but is supposed to have been fixed by microsoft.. It's probably caused by drivers conflict on usb ports. I got this issue there's long time and fixed it with this tuto and some of of these advices here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/165554-usb-driver-general-fix-problems.html

Try another mouse in the same USB port. If it works, your mouse is bad.

Try another USB port with your old mouse. If it works again, the other USB port is bad.

If switching USB ports/mouse doesn't work, and both USB ports have the same problem, you can also try to update USB drivers, or uninstall/reinstall current drivers and see if that fixes it.

I have. Your mouse is dead. Buy a new one.

(if mouse makes usb sound but still not working, it means internal sensor/or chip is f***ed.)
