Honestly, I think almost everyone who owns a PC for playing has played cracked games. Fortunately my favorite games are free to play or you can get them for 5$ or less meanwhile What I miss nowadays are simple demos or shareware versions of games, 10+ years ago it was pretty standard to release a demo of a game so people could try them out and then decide to buy or not, today you usually have to get a cracked full version to take a look at it. What I also miss when I buy a game (which doesn't happen too often anyway since 90% are crap) is a decent package with some features. You usually get just the jewel case with a DVD or two and that's it, maybe a 10 sided quick start guide where "plug in your monitor" and "update your drivers" is printed in 5 languages. I really loved some oldschool packages where a full and useful manual was included, a foldable map or a printed full keyboard layout or similar, depending on the type of game. 1 Quote

Myszon Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Well I don't have nothing illegal on my computer. No music, no movies, no games, no software. But maybe let me explain this, because I download music from torrents. Im a huge fan of Eminem, so I always buy his albums, without listening to them before I buy the CD. But for example any other Album of the artist I like, or just like a few songs. I download the album, listen to it 1-3 times and make my decision - I remove the illegal copy and buy an album or I just remove without buying it. So for me it's more like checking if it's worth to buy or not, but I always remove it, doesn't matter will I buy it later or not. Quote
ajnl Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 The concept of the First World first originated during the Cold War, involving countries that were aligned with the United States. These countries were largely capitalistic and self-proclaimed democracies. It can be defined succinctly as Europe, plus the richer countries of the former British Empire (USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand) and Japan. With the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the Eastern Bloc ceased to exist; with it, so did all applicability of the term Second World.%5B18%5D The definitions of the First World and Third World changed slightly, yet generally described the same concepts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_World *************************************************** Nearly 25 years later, with the aggressive slide into socialism and communism, few IF ANY countries meet this description It is unlikely that much, if any, of Europe could today be considered First world, however; I am not knowledgeable about the economies of the Low Countries, such as Duchy of Luxembourg. It could be reasonably stated that England, although not part of Europe, could be considered part of the European 2nd world. On the other hand Ireland would undoubtedly be a first world country. Don't be mad because the British Empire built nearly the entire civilized world & continues to pay dividends for those peoples whose ancestors bleed to support it - ensuring a more prosperous life for their progeny - generations after its collapse. According to the wikipedia article you posted, Europe (at least Western Europe) is still considered first world. Even though there are a couple different definitions, they vary slightly. Quote
