Mouse Pad 1: Steelseries QCK Heavy. I use with Deathadder.

Anyone have a guess at what wattage I will use with this setup? I'm thinking about getting a new 650 or 750 PowerSupply since my current one is 5+ years old and I'm not quite sure if it has enough power with all the new equipment. All hardware listed except Monitors, External HD, and 3D Glasses would run off it.

PC looks like a decent setup, the extras are overkill for me(or just jealous) ;)

About PSU: CPU TDP 77W+Total Power Draw : 170 Watts from EVGA site for graphics+100W for mobo with extras= estimates around 350W, so 650W PSU should be enough. 100W for for mobo is some estimation I calculated in past and is sticked in my head.

Yeah I got about 380W usage for the whole rig as well - 650W PSU should be plenty.

I'm a Corsair PSU person so I could suggest the TX650 - you can get it modular (remove unused cables from the PSU) or non-modular (cannot remove unused cables from the PSU). The HX series is one series above and tends to be used if you are going to be doing overclocking or adding more GPUs - it also costs bit more.

Can I also suggest you get the 2x8GB RAM slots? With that motherboard you can expand upto 32GB but if you are sticking to 16GB then having only two slots used draws less power, is less crowded and costs similarly to 4 x 4GB.

Wouldn't suggest Core i5 for gaming. Core i7 is the way to go if you want to play new games and do multi tasking at same time.

i5 3570k is good enough ,if not best, for gaming imo. but for multi tasking, you're probably right to get an i7.

I think i5 is good enough, if not you can push it easily to 4.3Ghz or even more with good specimen.

Ok firstly:

Intel Sandy Bridge = i3/5/7-2XXX (2nd generation)

Intel Ivy Bridge = i3/5/7-3XXX (3rd generation)

Intel Haswell = i3/5/7-4XXX (4th generation)

The 2nd generation i5s are still considered better for overclocking/gaming than their i7 counterparts - Not sure about the 3rd/4th generation CPUs.

The 3rd and 4th generation intel i5 CPU does not have hyper-threading while i7 does (correct me if I'm wrong here). Therefore, applications such as video editing would benefit from this while it may have a negative impact on gaming especially if you are overclocking your CPU. That said, you will overall gain slightly better performance at the base-level.

So, IMO, if you are not going to be running your game at maximum setting then i5 would be sufficient, however, if you are going to be multitasking and running your game mid-to-high settings then I would recommend i7. Then there is also the overclocking factor which I am not sure about.

i am pretty sure i don't have a i5 or i7  and i can play 2  fps games at 1 time  and have a web browser open with at lets  6 videos at all times
