Auto Tk kick

I am new to the forum and I just saw someone who posted this:

 

"there is an auto TK kick if u have less than -5 points. ( I believe). Every tk gives u -1 and a revive gives u +1."

 

I have never been kicked for that reason and maybe somewhere in this forum there is a place where it is explained but...

 

The "(I believe)" part makes me not rely very much on his opinions so the questions are:

 

Does this occur on Hardcore server?

 

How does it exactly work?

hmmmmmm Im not sure. But if you have negative 5 points you are kicked if I'm right?

I am not for sure, but I think it is based on team damge--not just team kills. If you go around shooting ur team consistantly then you can eventually get booted. I saw a player get kicked yesterday for shooting me and the reason it gave was "excessive team damage"

I posted that and last time i checked it was working, and thats why i posted it in the topic i did, where someone got kicked (although by admin) for tk/revive. The only reason i added "i believe" was becuz i wasnt sure if the value was set to -5 or a diff value. Anyways, sorry if this is reviving old topic

euh I don't think so. we aren't using etadmin_mod TK stuff. We are using etpub TK. I don't remember what cvar we've put in, but it's something that you need to hit your teammates 50 times (if you revive them you get +2). Then if you have 25% of your shots on your teammates, then you get kick for 5 minutes.

Think it kicks for 0 mins.

And I'm not sure about the 50 hits, cause a few times I think I've seen people who just connect, then shoot a few shots and get kicked. Not positive. But a 50 hit thing would be good idea, so that way if you're first few shots a teammate jumps in front of you you aren't kicked.

on hardcore, someone will get auto kicked for 'excessive team damage' even if they didnt kill anyone on their team. and 5 seconds later they reconnect and do it all over again.
