I never used a config before.  Really I have not.  All these years.

 

My system is CPU AMD 6150

    

                            Video  ATI   6870 2gigs mem

 

                           16 GB of mem. 

 

                           

                            fps 120  on ET

 

                            rest on ET all default

 

                            my ping is around 70

I posted a few sites where you can download cfgs (use search, and search my name and cfg). From there you can set your resolution, fps etc. I would just try a few and see what you like! BTW, depending on your internet connections, you can pull more than 120fps. I have similar comp specs and can pull 333 all day everyday. ;)

no need your eyes just receive 63 fps so...its just worthless to go such high..

i play with 76 and its realy good...and max i use its 125..no need to be more high than that ;)

and yeah downloading cfg is good but anyway it depends in the taste of the person...

i have a downloaded cfg but edited with my own taste in graphics and other stuff  :)

the best its that you make the cfg by hand and see the diferences with each value...

then you put the way you like more :)

 

dont forget to make the cmd without value to check wich value is the default like this you can change and if you dont like you can redo the default value

some say 20 , some say 40 .

The truth is your eye can see as many fps as you have . The thing is your brain has to compensate between each frame to make it look fluid. The more FPS u have , the less effort your brain make and you can play ET longer.

Yes i find that in search too...20-40

and all correct..the problem its not your eyes but your brain ;)

but yeah if you put 40 fps you look like a robot lagging :P

Actually this isn't entirely correct lucky. You are correct in what your eyes perceive, but the different fps rates affect how far you jump and whatnot. The higher the fps the easier trickjumping is http://www.enemy-territory.net/trickjumping.html

Always save prior versions of the file(s).  Read the config before trying it.  You might find something like "bind x "For a Good Time, visit us at ET-Sex-Clan.com!"!
