2x Air Strikes?

Has anyone noticed on the Beginners server that there seem to be more and more "double" Air Strikes? I've seen it both ways too, where you have 2 'friendly" AS, and one friendly and one enemy too. Weird. Anyone know the cause? Just coincidence of simultaneous calls?

No I have seen this problem with it. I have had one where I was sent in an airstrike and then at the same time I get killed by an enemy one.

I *think* this may occur if both call the map at the same time and click at (approx) the same time. I'm not really sure, I haven't noticed it for a while, but it seems that once one calls the airstrike (and send that to the server), it won't be denied anymore. And hence, if both send at the same time (which with a ping of 100 occurs more often than you'd imagine), this could indeed happen.

Yeah it happens sometimes.  In fact today I saw it twice.  I've also lost airstrikes before by calling a UAV during my own airstrike.  I call AS, get 3 kills, I call UAV, AS gets 2 more kills, only no airstrike.  Sad face.

Ah, so that's what it is? This happens to me all the time and I can never figure out why I lose my 2nd AS when I get 5 kills off the 1st (obviously I die before then).

i have a bug too.

I do 3 kill, active my Uav, after i kill 2 other man, no airstrike, bur if I do 1 more i have a 2nd Uav..

It's a bug?

Yeah, good thing it's only a minor bug that happens every once-in-a-while.

Even more annoying is when I get an airstrike and when I want to call it in, it fails and I lose my airstrike.

Explain this one.  Got 5 kills, Got an AS, killed 2 guys on first bomb, hit key got Helo, 2nd bomb comes thru kills 3 guys, got UAV, but before i could do anything, 3rd bomb lands get 3 more guys and I lost

everything. No UAV, No 2nd AS, no helo.  I guess the lessons here are don't use UAV again just set a location blindly and keep that 2nd AS.

 

One day I just got into the game, got lucky and shot 5 bots right off and got my AS but couldn't get in fast enough to use it.  Then I got swapped by the game and lost it.

There are two explanations i can give to this:

1- You didn't die.

2- You died, but there can happen strange things when you die, because the kills that you make while you are dead (even without spawn timer) don't count in with the streak. You get the kills, but not the streak.

Okay, that kind of sucks... you really should get the kills on the streak!
