SomEThinG Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 i haven't played the game for maybe a day or two and i just can't find my aiming back. i just don't feel right! does anyone have the same problem? Quote
TulsaGeoff Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 My aiming in ET has gone down the toilet. It happens Quote
A_Snake Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 It will take a while to get it back. Sometimes I lose it and then get it back all within a week. But, you'll find it again the more you play I am sure of it. Quote
Chuckun Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 When this happens to me, I find the best solution is to turn your sensitivity down a little if you've turned into the spray&pray guru.. But if you find you're too sluggish then turn your sens up instead.. But only a little bit! Then eventually you'll find you feel you want to change it back to how it was, once you snap out of your 'phase' Quote
Dddrgn Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Yeah, aiming can be very difficult, I've always sucked at aiming and am afraid I always will suck XD Quote
Ow_my_eye Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 I just go with it with the full knowledge that I've never been good at the game. Still fun for me, even though i suck at it. Occasionally, I get a good game in. My point is, don't let it frustrate you. Quote
Forsaken Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 When I used to play ET for all those wasted 6 years if anyone moved my chair, keyboard, or mousepad I would be screwed for a week. It's all mental of course but it would throw me off so bad. Now im good to go, theres 5 indentions in the floor where my chair wheels go so I always know where to put it LOL. I dont have this issue in any other game I play tho because theres no other games where people sprint strafe left and right taking 4 headshots. Your aim will be back and you wont even realise it. SomEThinG Posted August 15, 2012 Author Posted August 15, 2012 i'm adjusting everything lol. i don't know what happened to me but i'm trying to find my feelings back by playing cod4 again. i hope it will help. it's welcome to kick my ass now, because i can't aim now. lol Quote
Davidjb7 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 If I get in a rut, I tend to do 3 things. 1: Change up all my classes, chose the guns and perks I have always hated. It helps you get used to worse guns, then when you switch back, it gets better. 2: Play with only one thing, Snipers, knifes, LMG, Tubes...Etc..... Whatever you have to do to become "Proficient" again. 3: Go on Mods, like pro-mod, DPG, Tact Realism. Where EVERYONE is amazing. Quote
kentikins Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 You can always try use a shotgun, you don't need to aim perfectly. Use perks light increased impact and steady aim to maximise damage when fired from the hip. You'd gradually get the feel of shooting in the right direction. This trick helped a friend new to cod4 on the pc. Quote
SomEThinG Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 my aiming finally comes back a little Quote
