Jefke
yeah, but see you want something that will last, give you the speed you need, etc. The 1866 is going to last as well as giving you enough speed for a long time. You won't have to upgrade or put in more RAM. The 1333, you're gonna have to put in more than 8GB sooner or later. 25 euros RAM, probably not gaming RAM. nope, about the same time as the 1866 in 2014 ddr4 will be used, you know (well intel as least, amd maybe sooner)
Moron4
2014? no worries then, we only have 7 months or so left till apocalyps, so i don't think i need that upgrade just yet
ajnl
nope, about the same time as the 1866 in 2014 ddr4 will be used, you know (well intel as least, amd maybe sooner) No, because the 1866 gamer RAM will have enough speed. It won't be necessary to upgrade to DDR4 (IMO). Back before DDR3, I had some nice high end gaming DDR2 RAM and even when DDR3 was out, it wasn't necessary to upgrade. What I tried to say is : that you probably don't need to upgrade before building a new pc which probably will use dd4

It is like a $10 difference and the 1600 - 1866 are so worth it. lol

Same with the CPU and computer case. Neither a 10 dollar more case or lights will improve performance at all.
