Moron4
Joske said that the Ivy Bridge variant is cheaper than the Sandy Bridge variant, you should ask Joske about it on xfire or smth there is no 2500k among the ivy bridges @anni, if i fail, i'll take that one. Ann!b@l
Well the amd cpu would do the trick I just don't like the bulldozer serie indeed the Bulldozer conception failed face to Sandy and Ivy Bridge!! An i5 is better than all these series.. With Bulldozer, they're playing in the middle and low categorie..
Moron4
- CPU: intel core i5-3550 - Motherboard: ASRock z77 pro4 - RAM: G.Skill 8 GB DDR3-1333 Kit - Case: Corsair Carbide 300R - Videocard: sapphire radeon HD 7870 OC GHZ Edition - PSU: Thermaltake Smart M650W Bronze - HDD/SSD: Samsung 1TB HD103SJ - OS: Windows 7 premium ___________________________________ = €1050 But I probably made some mistakes, knowing myself EDIT: sapphire 7870 chosen over Geforce GTX 570 because of lower temperature and sound EDIT2: Samsung chosen over seagate, 1 TB instead 500gb i think it was. EDIT3: apparently my case is a bit dangerous, so i'm changing it with a more expensive, but safer one Edited June 2, 2012 by Marar4

Jefke
yeah, that 1333 because he went for another cpu first, totally overlooked it anyway doesn't made that great difference
ajnl
I started with a 25€ one then 31, 32, 40 , 45 =P yeah, but see you want something that will last, give you the speed you need, etc. The 1866 is going to last as well as giving you enough speed for a long time. You won't have to upgrade or put in more RAM. The 1333, you're gonna have to put in more than 8GB sooner or later. 25 euros RAM, probably not gaming RAM.
