Clan Friend SunLight Posted November 28, 2011 Clan Friend Share Posted November 28, 2011 maybe there is just some conflict between nvidia propritary drivers and some open source stuff that doesn't get uninstalled properly? before even trying to run et I would try all the glxinfo, etc. commands (I have ati so I don't know if it's the same)
Chuckun
I'm just using windows for now - I don't have the time to be playing around with it at the moment
PiNoY
Between Ubuntu and Kubuntu, I would choose Ubuntu as I like GNOME but betweek Ubuntu and LinuxMint, I prefer Linuxmint. Afar from factors I have taken choosing Linuxmint, Nvidia is not a problem from LinuxMint including my Dell laptop.
