Movies very seldom are better than the book but I think they have done an incredible job with every movie in this series. I will buy the box set of the Harry Potter movies as soon as its in stores. Might have to go back and re-read the books now since I forgot the details (good for watching the movies though as I didn't remember what happened next entirely). My only quip is that the characters looked kind of silly at the end, haha. (I understand what they had to achieve, the end result just didn't look quite right to me). I think there was 2 scenes where there was 3D effects, one was at the end, can't remember the other Maybe it was one of those movies like Clash of the Titans where they decided to make it 3D even though it was only made for 2D...
