Anyway, I lold when I read this section...

If you set the same command names more than once, then you will have only the last one you set, I don't know if that was intended, and also I don't understand the purpose of that wait command with an m_pitch change after just 1 frame.

So basically you can't move for 4 frames because wait blocks all your input, and that just to change the m_pitch?

 

Yeah chuck is a nab :), his script will only run the last pair of shooton/shootoff settings he has defined no matter which mouse button he pushes.

 

Specifically this messy pair:

 

set shooton "+attack; sensitivity 0.40; m_yaw 0.098; wait 1; m_pitch 0.015222; wait 3; m_pitch 0.011222"

set shootoff "-attack; sensitivity 1.80;m_yaw 0.022"

 

This is why we don't worry that much about limiting m_yaw.

I see that on jaymod servers a wider range of settings is allowed. You use m_yaw to 'artificially' set a lower m_pitch than the one allowed.

Among other things that caught my eye, g_knockback is a server side cvar.

 

i dont play on jaymod so i wont happen to know the range , i know that our m_pitch range is up to 0.011 , correct is not the same as a lower set m_pitch but it works , is a shooting cycle i just didnt do a full shooting script , it works for me , having a wait frame lets me adjust my mouse if i need to line up a head shot or some king of up movement , i add it the g_knockback b/c sometimes i host a local lan so i always keep that around .

Well trying to make my own CFG since I'm tired of having 5-9 FPS in outdoor environments. Here's what I have so far from reading helpful guides and such. pitch/yaw: im not sure but i think m_pitch has to do with the mouse movement from up to down (vertical) ...m_yaw horizontal movement...i set it at m_pitch "0.016" ..... m_yaw "0.022"

snaps : i just know it has something to do with ur connection...set it on 30

High FPS or low FPS: u need to have stable fps...if u have a poor graphic card set it low....most people have it on 125

cg_noAmmoAutoSwitch: switches to weapon2 when weapon1 is TOTALLY empty (that means it doesnt change when u have 00/30....i set it on "1"

cg_autoswitch: changes automatically with weapon on floor..set it "0"

r_highQualityVideo "1" instead of r_highQualityVideo "0": yes, graphics should get better but im not sure if there is a huge difference

Can someone give me info about m_yaw and pitch?? Don't understand that stuff. --> change of sensitivity at horizontal (m_yaw) movement and vertical (m_pitch) movement of the mouse

And what are SNAPS?? Can't find it on Google. --> Number of images, which be sent from server to the player (on F|A servers limited to 20)

And what is better?? High FPS or low FPS?? --> stable FPS as high as possible (43 / 76 / 125 let you better jump, 72 is good for pistol aiming (game bug´s)
