Friendly fire: on

Xp save or not: 80k then reset

Weapon limitations: one heavy weapon per team

Class limitations: 5 medics, rest unlimited. No adre.

Coefficient adjustments: Same like hc/silent server.

Map selection: Most - scrim maps and some other. Map voting ofc.

Rules: Same rules as F|A

Mod type: Etpub.

Slot size: 50-60

Friendly fire: Off.

Xp save or not: XP forever.

Weapon limitations: No panzers, 1 person per heavy wep.

Class limitations: No adren, no double jump.

Coefficient adjustments: Reduce the overpowered rifle-nades damage, spawn at least 15 secs.

Map selection: A 30 map rotation. (All types)

Rules: Same rules as F|A plus no sk.

 

Something like " F|A Recruiting XP Save " but without double jump, bots and sk.

 

would be nice to see a 50 slot etpub...never saw that, maybe it would get less chaotic and more realistic

Hardcore with 12 people per team makes game chaotic. It'd be the same like on jay servers.

I believe all mods are chaotic with +30 slots, but that makes it more interesting, right? :rolleyes:

i've played on very few servers in the past. but for about the last 1.5 years F|A Jay1 server has been the best for me. I like that there's no adre and that there are a lot of good players on there. also no molotov cocktails...i get pissed off enough with poison gas and the knives xD tit for tat though, the server has many more pluses than negatives.

 

The biggest thing though is the admins, they are fair and attentive most of the time which cannot be said for many other servers. and no hax (again thanks to admins).

Weapon limitations: Custum Guns but adding those landmines that set it and once you step on it, jump and explode right in your head (i dont know how it calls, i remember them as "Landmines S")

Class limitations: No Adrenaline, no double jumps

Coefficient adjustments: More damage for granades

Map selection: SPdelivery, Beerun, Supply, Goldrush, Frostbite, TCbase, Adlernest, Oasis, Bremen, Braundorf, Karasiah

Rules: Mostly same rules of FA but some modifications like spanish allow on general chat.

weapon limitations: hw restricted to panzer one per team, one rifle per team

class limitations: no class limits, but the above weapon limits

coefficient adjustments: stock ETPro settings

map selection: supply, braundorf_b4, adlernest, frostbite, sw_goldrush_te, radar, beerrun, oasis, et_ice, bremen_b2

Rules: rules? what rules? no cheating/exploits (oh hai beerrun barrels)

 

Stopwatch. Teams xp-shuffled at the end of every map.

 

Essentially I just want SNL/ET-Box back, with active admins banning the cheater-trash. Oh well, I think that time is now years in the past.

slot size: 30 - 40

Friendly fire: Off

xp save or not: Yes

weapon limitations: No mortar, no poison knifes/mines/gas/etc, no mg42, no molotovs

class limitations: 1 heavy weapon/team

coeffient adjustmentsci: No adre, no double-pistols, spawns 15s, doublejump on, NO SKIN/SOUND PACKS(so nothing to download).

map selection: Doesn't really matter, but no Railgun nor any totally random map. Propably all different variations from Goldrush, Radar, Supply, Venice, etc.

Rules: No cheating/bug abuses

slot size: 26 is always a great number

Friendly fire: 100% ON

xp save or not: XP save 30 days or 25k

weapon limitations: 1 panzer, 1 flamer for up to 10 vs 10(11+ vs 11+ would allow 2 panz, 2 flame)

class limitations: Class limit of 5 works on 26 slot. Adren is fun and allows a player to go berzerk and get great sprees.

coefficient adjustments: No double jump. Higher knife dmg for covert class at level 4 (They are trained assassins). Normal knife for all others. High explosive damage (panz, satchel, grenades etc..) Let's be realistic, it's an EXPLOSION! Fall off damage should exist IMO, but I'm not sure to what extent. Reduced accuracy with SMG/Pistol at longer ranges, with a small percentages of falloff damage.

map selection: Maps. :D TONS of maps to vote on. The vote system is great. More maps to vote on (if possible?) will allow a bigger selection, depending on player votes. It would nice to have an equal number of maps that Axis/Allies each have objective to complete. Most maps Axis is always defense.

Rules: Obviously no cheats hacks, bots, exploiting map bugs etc. SK yes. /kill ok. TJ ok. I would prefer the map doesn't end in the first 5 minutes though. Swearing/Censorship removed. (We have vsays that say F*CK On Jay, NQ etc..., but players cannot?) When a player dies, they want to yell it out sometimes..

 

Other things: MP40/Thompson selector for both teams on Silent is good. A lot of players seem to enjoy the new weapons, like the shotgun and that other gun I saw on I think Jaymod? I would test those on the server and see what players think overall before I decided to keep them or not.

!news disabled. It lags people. no additional vsays.

To make the perfect server:

 

1. Copy settings from FA#2.

2. Remove adren

3. Remove poison knives

4. Remove flamers altogether and nerf panzers in some way (increased recharge time, slower projectile etc)

5. Host it wherever beginners is being hosted. FA#2 is unplayable due to its lag.

6. Allow sten to shoot slightly longer before it overheats (would need experimentation to get it right, along with mod support to change it)

7. Fast stamina recharge (running energy, not class energy)

8. Perhaps lower medic max hp by 10-20 points.
