Here is a little (jaymod) demo I have tested with timedemo.

how to make the benchmark yourself:

1. unzip the file, and put the demo in your jaymod/demos folder

2. run the game, choose mods-> jaymod, and open the console

3. type:

/timedemo 1

/demo testdemo

wait for the demo to finish, then look at the console again, and you will get the average fps

here is my results, it would be nice to compare them to what you get:

cpu: intel core2 duo 6300 @ 1.86GHz

gfx: radeon hd5670

ram: 2gb

os: linux fedora 13 (32 bit)

timedemo: 817 frames, 13.0 seconds: 63.0 fps

not much :( but my cpu is too slow for et...if I enable ati catalyst ai I get more fps, but then it will use both cores 100% and I have mouse lag, so I have posted the result I get with my normal config.

cpu: AMD Phenom II X4 970 BE (4CPU's), ~3,5GHz

gfx: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 (clock 900MHz, mem 4200MHz)

ram: 6GB DDR3 1600MHz CL-9 (X.X')

os: Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit

timedemo: 817 frames, 7.5 seconds: 108.7 fps

(haven't priorisize ET to 1 core or anything, just tested this).

with catalyst ai on, I go from 63 to 86 fps, but I have to solve that mouse lag issue, I guess there is no cpu power left to refresh the mouse movements...

I was going to "tut tut" at you for replying to a nearly 6-year-old topic, but the subject is just too interesting.  :D

some say that Enemy Territory being a game based on the Q3 engine, is all processor, but in my opinion it's all video card
