He is probably new to the game :) Let him learn the game and probably then he will understand. ;)

probably but:

we from Gamingnet watched your W/ET Beginner Server and we will not recomend it to our gamers , because we found out that in the last time are to manny players on it with tuned ini´s and that is like cheating !

Many newbies together? :D

Btw i just realised he said they are "like" cheating he didnt say it straight :P

So you played on our servers for a total of more than 19 days and most recently found out that a lot of people use custom configs? It's part of the game - I doubt you would use a default Windows installation without at least changing the wallpaper. If you feel your enemies are too good, adjust your settings and get better. ;)

I'm a little unsure about "Gamingnet". Is that your multigaming clan with its roots here?

I experience sometimes that you point the middle of an enemies torso, he's not moving or in near of any cover, neither are you and noone is shooting at you, but you still don't get a single hit on him after spraying half the clip, then he kills you with like 4 shoots.

if noone is shooting at you, and you waste half the clip without hitting a stationary player, then chances are that you are not aiming well, and not even caring about controlling your weapon spread. Demo or it never happened.

I hid on that place you can see on the screen and demo. After a short while three axis run along, two passed the third suddenly turned in one move towards me and blow my helmet off my head

I don't think you can really 'hide' since most players are not blind, they play with widescreens and huge cg_fovs and, above all, they know a lot of common spots (I wouldn't call that one common, since jumping there hoping that nobody will see you is silly imho)

If XP means something, I play ET for about 5 years now and have often changed my GUID due to new setups.

I play on FA since after FAG disappeared and FA provided fun. I've like 30k XP on another PC, 20k oon this and some GUIDS changed during new OS-Setups with about 10k to 20k. I don't claim to be a pro nor being a good player, I just play for fun and fun is more and more disappearing when facing cheaters and massively unbalanced teams.

you have played more than I did (I played 4 years), yet I don't say 'cheater' to everyone, actually if you accuse everyone of cheating that's a good reason for you not to improve, aka

'I am good and I don't need to play in a different way, but they are cheating'.

Instead my motto is 'I am lowskill and I totally suck, but not everyone can be lowskill, so there must be better players than me'. Totally different attitude. Of course lowskill etpro is not lowskill jaymod, that's obvious. Before starting to play jaymod I thought 'there are no beginners left in this game'... I was wrong.

About playing for fun, I play for fun too, but I can assure you that I don't miss on purpose. My playing 'for fun' could mean that I choose a losing tactic just to see if I can kill that camper without going from another route, or if I can kill a medic using only a single pistol. But I don't miss shots on purpose. And I often enjoy joining the 'losing' team.

Tuned configs don't move your mouse for you, and Xp is overrated. I still have my original guid, but many times I have resetted my xp, and when I 'discovered' fa servers in winter 2009 I had already played a lot in other (etpro) servers, so my xp was of course low, but not my 'experience'.

And no, you don't need 5 years to reach your maximum level in et. Last year I had the same skill(or lack of it) I have now, and so 2 years ago, maybe 3.

If you think that a player is cheating, post a demo here, and they will review it. Unluckily wolfcam works very well only for etpro demos, and it doesn't work at all for jaymod, so you have to record a demo of that player and you can't just record yours and watch it from his pov. Meaning that you cannot play meanwhile...

This thread is slightly confusing to me, are we talking about xp or cheaters (aimbotters?)?

If it's xp, then I have over something like 150k+ on Jay 1, but I'm still a noob.

If it's aimbotters, then +1 on Jay 3, I have probably counted around half a dozen aimbotters in like 4 months on Jay 3, because the settings are fun for aimbotters to mess with (faster firing, etc), and there are no admins around, I remember having to get admins from other servers to kick them, no offense. I've seen ppl advertise their aimbots on Jay 3, I'll get ss next time round.

Admins are human and not robots and hence we require regulars to report the issue so we can ban those cheating scumbags.

Speaking for my self, I get annoyed when people start screaming hax in main chat. In my experience, it's almost never the case. I've seen videos of some guy named mAus who can do the impossible when it comes to aiming...and he played in clanbase where everyone closely monitors for that stuff. Even if the other guy is cheating, consider this:

He probably sucks without his hack, right? So sneak up on him, anticipate his movement, and negate any advantage his aimbot might give him.

I say worry less about haxors and just enjoy the challenge of playing against better players than you (there are so many better than me! )
