Blade Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 lol my friends are talking about this as well. Based on what I've heard its only for this year so you keep whatever you were born with... I don't see the craze about it though Quote
RoosterCogburn Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Its all just a bunch of crap anyway. Quote
Butterz Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Its all just a bunch of crap anyway. They have a bunch of preset sayings, and they just pick one at random, "You will encounter a major challenge today" or "If you are true to your friends, money will blah blah blah" Quote
Post(?)Organic Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I'm a Leo now? I have no problem with this Quote
hobbit Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 meh i still stay a taurus. If they added 1 more then that makes sense since the zodiac is based on the constellations the Sun "passes" through throughout the year, and their are 13 of them. Quote
GoodKarme Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 i am a scorpio no list changes can change that lol Quote
Wifestein Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 YES IM STAYING A VIRGO! LMAO September 17th :] Quote
PHANTASM Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Wow, it's interesting because what they are doing, if you think about it, is more like a scientific discipline than a religious/superstitious philosophy. Science constantly revises its theories whenever new data is acquired. For example, they have removed Pluto from the list of planets now that there are many other large asteroids in our solar system, some of which are larger than Pluto. It was either remove Pluto or add another dozen planets to the list. Religions never change, many fundamentalist churches still teach that God created the Earth in seven days. So the astronomers have informed the astrologers that, based on the current locations of these constellations, there has been a drift in the zodiac chart, and they have been wrong for centuries. Most religions would have said "who cares if it is right or wrong, we cannot change because that would mean admitting we were wrong, and we are never wrong, so GFY buddy." I don't believe astrology, but I have studied it out of curiosity. I have always wondered why anyone would believe it. I am actually impressed that they are capable of revising their ideology to better fit reality. Maybe now they will make better predictions lol. Quote
