ET BEGINNERS #2 Correctly set the redirection url

Hey,

I noticed a while back that because on my install, I can't dl maps directly from BEG#2. As a consequence, my cl_wwwdownload is set to "1". So far so good.
However Beg#2 redirection url is currently set as "fearless-assassin.com", which misses the final "s". So it opens a web browser with a wrong url leading to nowhere. 
Does any active member or leader have the ability to update the related cvar (sv_wwwBaseURL is my guess), so that the server redirects to the actual website?

Moved. @daredevil can only fix this if there is anything to fix. I haven't noticed any issues with redirect and all maps are downloaded well.

 

Can you specify what do you mean with "your install"? 2.60b or ETL? Because me and DD ran into issue with 2.60b downloads, but he fixed it. Anyhow I recommend using ETL install for better experience overall.

Seems like it's just that specific server and would only show up for maps you don't have in etmain (dlcache for ETL) already, right?

My point is not about downloading the maps, which I found a way around  (I either dl from FA website or from other ftp I know, in case there is no link here)
My install is ETL.
The issue is for players who set "cl_allowDownload 0" and "cl_wwwDownload 1", or people who can't dl from the servers for unknown reason, just like me.
In that case the server has an url redirection that is manually written within its config: it closes the game, opens your web browser and opens the website.
However the url is "fearless-assassin.com" instead of "fearless-assassinS.com". I just suggest to add this final S in the appropriate cvar so the redirection is correct for people who might need it. (I suppose the cvar is "sv_wwwBaseURL" but I might be wrong)

Hi - Have updated base URL since another domain, i haven't renewed. We used to own 4 domains:

 

fearless-assassins.com

fearlessassassins.com

fearless-assassin.com

fearlessassassin.com

 

You shouldn't need to find work around in download to begin with. Can you please share the error message? Thanks
