Will update scores before finals start. Now have to take couple day off from reallife hockey (ofc playing Eastside Hockey manager). Oilers won and it wasnt surprise when i saw every Dallas game in these playoffs. They wasnt playing like team. Individuals won them some games and series. DePoer throw Oettinger under bus after game. Maybe its time to look at new coach. Depoer is good coach, but isnt able to change tactics if team struggle. Maybe they could try David Carle? Laviolette is free too. Does Nill have balls to fire DePoer and do as Zito did.  Its shame that Granlund didnt get his Cup yet, this was closest so far. I wish he either return to Minnesota or resign with Dallas, but Dallas dont have a lot cap room. Anyway where he sign that team comes my number one team. I follow and breath hockey through Granlund career now, just like i did with Mikko Koivu before him. I dont have any ties to any teams, but Wild still interest me and i will continue follow them next season too. I hope they resign Rossi, he was fun to watch. Mikko Koivu will be one of TPS coaches next season and Aatos Koivu, Saku Koivu son playes in TPS. So i might watch some TPS games next season. I am very tired of hockey after watching over 200 games, but still feel bit sad that season is almost done and there come couple very long month without hockey. At least i can play East Side Hockey manager which i already played over 2700 hours.

Stanley Cup Finals

 

Edmonton - Florida

 

We will get a rematch from last year. It's crazy to say, but both teams are better than they were last year. Teams weren't the best teams in the regular season, but they have been two best teams when it matters most. Edmonton is super hot now, they are 12-2 in their last 14 games. McDavid led the team off and on the ice. They know how bad losing feels so they want to win now, more than never. Many great teams first lost Finals and then came to win it in the next season. Example: Dallas in 1999, Pittsburgh in 2009 and Florida in 2024. Pittsburgh had young Crosby in their roster, when they won the Cup after losing to Detroit in 2008. In 2009 it was a rematch against Detroit and then Pittsburgh was stronger. I predict Edmonton follows Pittsburgh's example and wins their rematch. Florida is super strong. Their third line has been one of best if not best lines in these Playoffs. That line can turn this series into a Florida win.  You never know what version of Bobrovsky you get, but you can say the same on Skinner. The Florida defence group is wider, but Edmonton d-group is more sharp. Same can be said for the forward group also. Florida has a more deep forward group, but Edmonton has a more sharp f-group. Can Barkov, the three time Selke winner shutdown McDavid and Draisaitl. It's probably too much to ask if Edmonton is able to use McDavid and Draisaitl in different lines.

My Prediction: Edmonton win 4-2

I hope that someday you can see Leafs win it. Its best feeling in the world when your idols or favorite teams win it. I was so young that i dont have a lot memories from world championship win 1995. So when Finland finally won 2011 World Championship tournament it was best feeling in the world. I yelled my lungs out and was running in my house like crazy man. I still remembers my grandfa calling me after game ended. I saw my idol Mikko Koivu leading team to victory as Captain. If remembering 2006 Olympic silver medal is still hurting a lot. 2011 Is still my best hockey memory and i wish you can feel something similar with your team. We always believe and love our team.
