Godfiend Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 The genre I enjoy most would have to be Metal. Some of the bands I enjoy: [snip] Your name is Bondage Goat Zombie, and you didn't list Belphegor? For shame! I've gotta say, though, few bands on your list are known to me. You seem pretty into death, though. Have you heard Decapitated? Cryptopsy? Skinless? Big names, so you probably have, but just throwin' 'em out there. Quote

I would have included Belphegor, but the list was large enough as it was. Decapitated and Cryptopsy pwn...Well Cryptopsy did before their newest album. Quote

SiLeNT Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 can somebody tell me what the hell the difference between rap and hip hop is? i always thought hip hop was like 'pop rap' or mainstream stuff like songs you hear on the radio and MTV and what not. Quote
vke Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 i mostly listen to local/indie stuff, but a few of the mainstream bands i like are (in no particular order): Jack Johnson Waking the Cadaver Still Remains (their first 2 cds) Our Last Night Emmure Muse For Today Coldplay Infected Mushrooms As I Lay Dying A Day to Remember Jack's Mannequin The Fray Quote
Lush* Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Neutral Milk Hotel Beat Happening The Halo Benders The Magnetic Fields Talulah Gosh The Shop Assistants Pavement Mount Eerie Ghost Mice Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains The Mountain Goats Will Oldham Metal bores me. Rap is lame. Radio Alt rock like Nickelback, Linkin Park, Daughtry, Shinedown makes me want to vomit everytime I hear it. I'm a harsh critic of music because 90% of it sucks. Quote
coma9 Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 i go thru phases...my phase right now : Band: Eluveitie Song: either Tarvos or Slanias Song dude... I love your freaking sig.... very jealous. Um, I've always liked anything Rock, something with 2 guitars (bass and lead are accepted) a big drum kit, and a good lead singer. Female or male! I love everything from Paramore, Flylear, to old school GNR and ZZTop. Pretty big range, I know, but its all good to the ears of someone open minded! Quote
