Hi !

I used many times the rifle and I notice that with smg, the accuracy is overwhelmingly good : I can touch an enemy and sometimes (it's very rare though) kill him even at very large range, but with the rifle (Garand M1 or Gewehr 43) it is a struggle to even touch the enemy while he is quite close or when I'm proned.

Halp !

I agree ... have way more success with getting a hit with first shot when using the SMG over the rifle. Rifles should be quite accurate, considering they can only do single shots and have 10 shots at disposal.

Gotta know the way each gun spreads, takes time to figure out, but the bigger the gun the wider spread. starting with the sten with practically no spread or recoil, to smg to fg42 to m1/k43 to the mg 42.. recoil kicks up and they spread sideways.. aim accordingly. When fragging with anything bigger than SMG try paying less attention to precisely putting your crosshair on the head and instead spray in the general area of the head between shoulders width.

hope this helps

I believe that the ET developers "tamed down" many of the weapons to make the gaming more even and enjoyable.

The MGs, Arty and Airstrike are especially tamed down for the game, as compared to historical Real Life.  ?

The MGs and Sten guns 'overheat' much too quickly!  ?
