Problem with ETLegacy in server =F|A= NOQUARTER XPS.

Normaly /reconnect should solve it (it solves it for me on S1). Joining a team there works fine for me with ETL version 2.81.1.

 

 

You should use the ETL 32 bits version but the messages i read let me think you already use it.

 

I still think that downgrading wont solve anything.

I have uninstalled all versions of Legacy (32 and 64) saving my files. I reinstalled version 32 and I can now join a team.
It seems that the 64 version does not work correctly.

Ooooh. Bad news again.
This morning everything was working fine. I was able to join both teams several times. I logged in and out of the server several times and there were no problems.
There were only bots, but I could unite the teams.
This afternoon, without making any changes, it again won't let me join either team, I can only be a spectator.
On other servers that run Legacy I have no problems, this only happens to me on FA.
I do not know what to do.

The console message clearly says that if I can't join a team to go to the FA administrator.
Nobody can help me?

And i would be surprised that the problem is the configuration of our server.

 

I connected to  NQ1 again and i could join any team without problems.

 

I use ETL 2.81.1 32 bits version.

 

So the problem is somewhere else.

The last thing that you could check is if your ETLegacy folder in Documents is linked to OneDrive. If so, disable OneDrive backup for Documents folder and delete the ETLegacy folder and run ET to create fresh files and then add etkey to etmain.

 

No idea if it will help, but I remember I had problems with OneDrive in the past.

 

And remember that you can't have any custom packs or files in etmain and nq 🙂

log in to your PC as another user and try to connect to the any FA server ... if that works, follow TomekKromek's recommendation to clean your "custom packs". Alternatively, you can rename the "etmain"/"nq" folders temporarily (etmain_tmp e.g.) and check them again (or even rename the whole folder ETLegacy folder to documents).

1.

make a backup of your etkey file and your config.

 

2.

uninstall ETLegacy completely.

delete the ETlegacy folder from:

 

C:\Usuarios\ TU-NOMBRE DE USUARIO \Documentos\"ETLegacy"

 

4.

also delete all leftover folders manually in: 

 

c:\programfiles\etlegacy

 

5.

then, after you completely cleaned out your pc from any old versions, restart it.

 

6.

then download this:

7.

perform a clean "full install".

 

8.

start the game.

 

9.

create a new profile after startup.

 

10.

 connect to NQ again as ETLegacyplayer without any custom configs, or settings. (100% vanilla)

see if the error disappeares and you can join any team.

if yes,

then try replacing the etkey file and config from your backups, 

with the one in the etmain folder in:

C:\Usuarios\ TU-NOMBRE DE USUARIO \Documentos\ETLegacy\etmain

 

13.

start the game and execute your config again to see if the error occurs again. 

 

(optional)

14. 

if yes, something is wrong with your config.

in that case delete your config from Etmain again, and restart the game.

 

15.

use the graphics menu from etl to setup your customisations. 

 

16. 

after you have customized your etl, open the console and type:

/writeconfig trucuflus.cfg

this will write a complete new config into your etmain folder.

 

17.

now you can execute your customised etl config  .

 

18.

done
