Humans have new ideas for new Space Engines all the time!  How many will "work out" is only for Time to Tell!  (paraphrasing the Goldrush news announcer. 😄 )

I personally think going to Mars is a great idea to take the "first step" to human survival, taking notice on how are we driving this planet out, we need to get ready to have a second alternative and Mars accomplishes a lot of "requirements" that could hold a human outpost in a different planet from the Solar System.

 

NASA has plans to go boost up a mission still few years left by 2033 through 2035 to rise some cool habitats out there in Mars.

 

Still a long time to look forward 😄
