I can not connect to servers

Hello, when I enter a server, it exits and enters the lobby, but it downloads the resources. What should I do?

If this happens always: Maybe try deleting the mod-folder?

 

But wich server you are trying to connect to? Or which mod?

 

And which game version do you have? Steam-ET? Original-ET? ET-Legacy?

 

But also: sometimes i have this for myself - a restart and reconnect helps me. How about you - did you tried this?

Are you playing the game first time? OR you are an old player, know how to play ET and some issue joining team and hence the question? Can you please clarify and we can help you.

Yee, If you are downloading the same file, then there must be two files that are the same that are different but under the same name.

 

Sometimes it happened that a file not fully downloaded (with .bmp or other .fah53g format) would not allow to join the server (and would download the same map). But it wasn't likely to dump to the lobby or desktop. It kept downloading map indefinitely. Of course, this sort of thing was happening on ET2.60b. Generally it all crashes in its own way on the older version. On ETL everything is fine.

Can you send a video? Is there an error code that you get when it disconnects you?

 

Could be the run in admin issue. 

 

Usually deleting folders helps too so it can re download the paks.

 

I'm also assuming you have tried clicking reconnect a few times after it sends you back to lobby. Sometimes I get that and reconnecting works.

try to copy ur etkey and put it in fresh install folder and run that way

sometimes a download gets corrupted and u cant connect or play. 
If the fresh install works then copy over ur scripts if u use any and try again.
If it works the download was corrupt, if the transfer gives the same issue its something with the script
