MaTt0 Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 First off I use the ET Legacy.exe I went through my whole config and I do not have any snaps set to 250 I have "/seta snaps 40" I also even made a specific Jmod config with "/seta snaps 20" When I go to exec the Jmod cfg or even autoexec to change my snaps it gives me the sv_floodprotect I was told to have it set at 20 for the Jmod server, which is why I'm asking for help. So I keep trying to /snaps 20 but it doesn't seem to do anything. At one point in spectators I did in fact see my snaps go to 20, but about a few seconds later it was forced back to 250. I'm not sure where this 250 number is coming from, but if I'm allowed to play using 250 then we should be good. I just don't want to get kicked for something out of my control. I made a vid to better visualize the issue. 1 Quote

Leader Solution RedBaird Posted May 3, 2022 Leader Solution Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) I think that the FA servers lock it at 20 anyway, from what I recall. I should try changing mine inbame with 2.60b and see if I get a "cheat protected" reaction... _____________________________________________ Okay, I tried /snaps 10 on Jay#1 and got ]/snaps 10 Command delayed due to sv_floodprotect. ]/snaps "snaps" is:"20" default:"20" I forgot to try /players. I tried /snaps 250 on Jay#2 and did remember to do /players 😄 15 : =f|a=redbaird 0 45000 100 250 but it changed back to 20 a short time later. Edited May 4, 2022 by RedBaird Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted May 4, 2022 Administrators Posted May 4, 2022 250 can be your FPS. \set com_maxpfs 250 Snaps as RedB mentioned - it's default to 20. 1 Quote
Platinum VIP -=HipKat=- Posted May 6, 2022 Platinum VIP Posted May 6, 2022 Unless you have a 120.240 Hz refresh Monitor, 250 will cause that lag you're seeing. The best I could set mine on a 60Hz 4K was 155, which was stable but 120 is still the better setting Quote
