Damn Patch 2.60b

The problem of sound that comes out every time I install the patch 2.60b me really tired! I can not live with it like other people wrote.

Is there a way to solve this problem?

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit can take with this issue about having a 64-bit operating system?

 

There is perhaps have a patch for 2.60b 64-bit patch for a 32-bit?

 

let me know this sounds really give me a big hassle for now and then the solutions are 3:

 

1) Back to version 2.55 (waiver of the functions of the game)

2) Solve the problem

3) bee the release of a new patch but as the game May 29, 2003 and we hope not too much on a new patch.

The problem is that almost sounds by putting the patch 2.60b change and become different from the usual and I find that are more annoying.

The video shows the problem to download.

Other people have put 2.60be had no problems in the sounds but I do and others such as this topic:

If you can post your sound settings values it will help to fix issues.

For audio settings do you mean? etconfig the file? etmain or others?

If you connect to xfire you send them directly to you.

ya i been have some problems with the 2.6b patch myself i get lag spikes my et close for no reason that why i have not been on the server for sometime just take a brake from it all going for so mine years it can get annoying very easy

Your cfg has seta s_khz "11" I believe makes your sounds play at 11 khz.

 

Try this instead see if it help seta s_khz "44" I think should be the setting

Notajedi command works now thanks a lot I sounds perfect! :thanks:)

 

For those who have my problem the command seta s_khz "44" should be amended in etconfig to file with a text editor and not with the game console!

or just go (ingame) options-system- then set sound quality to high

it wont change

@ Jorz: Changing it Ingame didnt helped me. I had to restart my pc to get rid of the weird Sound. Dunno why. I never had it before, just after i installed the 2.6b Patch.

Thank you. This helped me alot. Didnt had the weird Sound anymore. I checked my CFG and i had s_khz "11" and not 44.
