Hi,

for the past week on the server more noticeably when quite full the server has been lagging with players and myself warping, even today with not that many players on it was happening and i know its server side because lots of people was talking about it in chat. I just want to know if anything is being done about this as the server doesn't seem stable maybe its an issue with the host?

its ruining the fun for me personally.

I'm sure others can corroborate this.

Servers 'buffer'(delay) traffic if usage is high on The Internet...

Blame the old game(Enemy Territory), 50,000 gamerate is only 50 KB/Second.

Low compared with newer games.

This makes me sad 🥲. Is there nothing we can do about this being how the game is coded?

I am not seeing this at all. Can you do some packets through winmtr and share it here.

The problem has seem to have gone away idk if its the server running nicely again  or something I did but only thing I changed was cl_packetdup to 0

Hmm

Thats a good setting as modern internet doesnt really need duplicate packets. Weird if that was causing stutter though. We need to remember this setting for people getting lags. I have always had it zero since Alienz Hudson mentioned it in 2005 :)
