Even the Germans were terrified of what Ukrainian nationalists were doing in the eastern territories of Poland. The Canadians built them a monument? Shame on you. Someone painted “Nazi war monument” on a stone cenotaph commemorating those who served with the 14th SS Division in the Second World War. The monument is located in Oakville in the St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery. The division, made up of Ukrainians who pledged allegiance to Hitler, was part of the Nazi’s Waffen SS organization. L3ftY. Posted July 22, 2020 Share Posted July 22, 2020 (edited) I live 20 minutes from there. It is a private cemetery off the main road hidden in the back of the property. Driving by you wouldn't know what it was. The monuments in and surrounding Toronto are being vandalized almost daily now by protesters. When the police first saw this they said it was a hate crime as all the others are, and didn't know the history behind the monument. Shame on you. easy there no bashing the canadians eh first of all it does not say in your article that canadians built or put up that monument all it says its in canada im going to assume that seeing its on the property of a ukrainian church that it would be the ukrainian people that put it up?
