0 captnconcrete Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 intel hardware accelerator execution manager. comes built in to every intel gpu. so to set ur gpu settings how u would like them depends on your monitor . and ur graphics card driver. if u post them up or just pc specs . someone could help better u could go into ur display control panel and set them there. 0 Carbonautics Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 (edited) @rahul848181 You can use software like Speccy: https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download to get information about your PC easily. (In case you don't know how to search for all the information in different parts on windows). which is hectic I know. Be sure to untick those 'install google chrome' or 'install chromium' option while in installer, it's annoying adware. The information for my GPU would look like this in speccy: Edited June 7, 2020 by Carbonautics 1 Quote

0 Carbonautics Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 (edited) First thing I notice is it says Monitor width and height as 1920*1080, which means it's a 1080p monitor but your resolution is 1536*864, which is a weird resolution, seems like 5:3 maybe? idk. But You should try changing your resolution to 1080p in AMD settings. Go to this site, will tell you how to change your resolution, change it to 1920*1080, this alone will improve the quality by a ton: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-005#faq-Display-Resolution Then same like, but follow other points too, since you have an AMD GPU powered laptop: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-005 Won't help much but increases color a bit, if you use it a lot, you might feel like other screens feel a bit grey-ish or black white for a while after use. This allows you to increase the vibrance by software, all colors pop out more(make sure to download laptop version since you have laptop, using PC will drain your battery lot faster): https://vibrancegui.com/ Edit: revisiting the ss again, idk why it say Monitor on Intel graphics when you have a GPU. Lots of my friends too have this on intel graphics even if they have gpu in their laptop. IDK anything about this, maybe @captnconcrete knows more about why and if there are solutions for it Edited June 9, 2020 by Carbonautics 1 Quote

IDK anything about this, maybe @captnconcrete knows more about why and if there are solutions for it The intel gfx are actually better overall vs the AMD one, only benefit of the AMD is the AMD chip has dedicated memory compared to the intel shared which basically uses part of the Laptops RAM.....Overall the intel is better but given its only for watching movies its not applicable either way. The current resolution may be 1536*864 which is an odd res but if the screen is only 15 inches while changing to 1080p will make it slightly better ratio wise overall the quality wont really be anything mega visually, although saying that i would always have the highest available. 1 Quote

Make a screenshot and you will have the answer (the real resolution), sometimes softwares - like Speccy - are wrong (for example the W10 Scaler and layout option to change size of text and app, will transform Speccy value if you magnify it) Paste SS in paint for example. In your case, I am sure that your scale is 125% (1536*864 x 1.25 = 1920*1080) Edited June 13, 2020 by GHARIB Quote
0 opsinphark Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 I've noticed that on Windows 10, the original ET (doesn't apply to Legacy) will default to the Intel GPU instead of the AMD/NVIDIA (whichever you happen to have installed). I have to start mine by right clicking the ET icon and selecting the GPU manually, even though it should default to NVIDIA. Not sure if anyone else has had similar issues, but that's my two cents.
