Problem with Download ? New NQ

When i joined there today it tried to download one of those ~~~~~~.pk3 files but said file exists with wrong checksum and tried to download over and over again . Didnt thought bout it , deleted all those pk3. out of my main and it worked . But i see lots of people trying to connect and ending in : acking disconnected download mode , so i thought they might have the same problem like me and cant connect because of this . they might not know where to check for those files , so they dont try any further . it happened to me while i already updated my menu via the exe downloadable here . Someone might check into it .

Just talked to someone who had the same issue , whos playing on the old NQ , tried to download that file over and over again , resulting in the error i wrote above , seems a general problem , server could be way more filled ;)

Just tried to reproduce the error , installed again the menuupdate from FA , visited the other FA server to see if there any files that would interfer when connecting to the new NQ , but found nothing , so it doesnt seem to have to do with any files from FA . Still weird though that around 70-80 percent of connecting player , got off with the message : acking disconnected download mode .

or just delete the ~~~~ ones you have and then try to join again

I deleted all .pk3 files in no quarter folder and etmain folder, i tried to connect writting ip manually in et starter, and worked.

 

Updating status to: Fixed.
