Covops with smg?

I meant that in the end, you would have a disguise on and you wouldn't be covops. Like an engineer with a enemys uniform on.

 

And ye, u can't spawn with them, but you can pick up any weapon from the ground.

yeah that is allowed, as long as you don't take a disguise, change class to engineer and then rush a map. (you loose the disguise when you change class on hardcore)

If I understand the question right I believe you understood it wrong lol and I doubt its allowed dude but I don't know tbh.... what he's saying is as a covy you can take an enemy uniform and then switch classes from an friendly dead body and its a glitch in the game that will leave you, as say a medic, with the enemy uniform on. But like I said I dunno if its allowed or not but I doubt it...

it's not a glitch, it's set in the server settings

It is a server setting option. I forgot which line it is, ill look into it. Back on pub in the old days coverts could steal uniform of an axis player and then steal a uniform of a allied eng and still be disguised. They would get a thompson or the grand, but they would recieve no ammo. This setting would be very good for oasis or fuel dump. As far as i kno, all of these server's do not allow this to happen as its done in the server.cfg. But then again this situation was sometime ago.
