Implications for everything online. Cant see this happening, well, hopefully not.

But I do foresee a more regulated internet. Where your government selects what content you can see.

More than already? IDK about you but I already have content blocked becuase of geographic region, w/o the use of proxies the interenet is already slanted

I really don't think anything is going to come of this, but I do think that governments will try to regulate internet usage in some way in the future.

Yes, now you can, but what if they put a proxy on the cables leaving the country ?

then they can stop you however you try.
