I'm not really sure about this but I thought putting bots isnt allowed anymore because it can crash the server. and all those bots in 1 team also could crash a server if im not mistaking. 
but I could be wrong. im just saying it because its better to prevent then fix later ;) but I also have some revenge feelings towards those bots :P

Then we are lucky that it did not happen, and we will kill just the 10 of them next time ;)

To put it plain and simple: no commands whatsoever are allowed on bots.

You didn't know, no problem. Now you do :)

In order not to cause confusion (thanks RB): putting a bot to make a player able to balance the teams is allowed.
